My wife always says I have a “play job.” And honestly, she’s not wrong though. Advertising does feels a lot like play. Pushing limits, being curious, getting lost in ideas and turning a random thought from showering into something real on set. Sometimes that play causes a little trouble… but the good kind, the kind that sparks ideas, wins metals, and makes an impact.

For me, play isn’t just fun, it’s fuel. It’s what keeps me exploring, questioning, and finding new ways to shake things up. I don’t see ads as selling. I see them as stories worth telling. The one that connects, sticks in culture, and hopefully outlives the campaign. And if you’re lucky, your family will know about it.

On the Ogilvy train, I’ve had the chance to play with global giants like Unilever Vaseline, HSBC, Intercontinental Hotels Group, M&Ms, Pringles, and Changi Airport Group. Before that, at Protocol Sg, I honed my craft with Singapore GP, Meiji, Milo, Nestle, Bonjour, Starhub, and PLQ Mall.

I’ve also been lucky enough to bring home some shiny souvenirs too from Cannes. Singapore’s first Titanium, Grand Prix wins in Health and Social & Creator, plus a mix of Gold, Silver, Bronze Lions and shortlists.

Still, awards aren’t the goal, they are bonus. The goal is simple: keep playing, keep creating, and hopefully make something worth talking about.
